Searching for features in MapIT

To search County Records and locate the information on the map, use the Map Theme and Search Criteria features. Themes vary, based on the kind of information required. Also, the Search Criteria options vary, based on the selected Theme. The default is the Parcel search.

Choose a map theme

Select the desired Map Theme from the dropdown list.

Choose search criteria

Select the type of information desired by selecting the Search criteria from the Search dropdown list.

Parcel search

• The parcel search criteria has three differnt ways to search:
• Account Number
• SPN (State Parcel Number)
• Owner Name\Parcel Address

• Parcel - Account Number search
• Complete the Property Accounty Number
• Click on search

• Parcel - SPN (State Parcel Number)
• Complete the SPN
• Click on search

• Parcel - Owner Name\Parcel Address
• Complete any one or all of the Parcel Owner, Street Address Number, or Street Name fields
• Click on search

Economic development

• Economic development search
• Complete the criteria fields - Zoning Type, Adjacent to Major Roads, Minimum Parcel Size, Maximum Parcel Size, and Imporved
• Click on search

Planned development

• Planned development search
• Complete the Planned Development field
• Click on search

Roads search

• Roads
• Complete the Road Name field and Road Type field (optional)
• Click on search

Subdivision search

• Subdivisions
• Complete any or all of the fields - Subdivision Name, Filing Number, Reception Number and Amendment Number
• Click on search

Tax authority search

• Tax authority
• Complete any one of the following fields - Tax Authority Name, Tax Authority Number or Tax District Number
• Click on search

Using the results window

To view the property on the map, click the "magnifying glass" Zoom to Feature.

To view parcel details, click the Parcel Details icon (with the binoculars).

Selected results tools

Tools available on the Selected results window:

Name	Icon	Description
Zoom to selected		Click on the zoom to selected: The extent of the map will adjust to show all of the selectied features.
Select all featutres		Click on select all features: This will select all of the features in the selected data (even if the selected item has been unchecked).
Unselect all features		Click on the unselect all features button: This will unselect all of the features in the selected data (even if the selected item has been checked).
Flip selection		Click on the flip selection button: This will flip all of the selections so that all of the checked items become unchecked and the unchecked itmes will become checked.
Create a report		Click create a report: A .pdf report is generated with information about the selected data.
Save data		Click on the save data button: A spreadsheet will be created in a .cvs format.
